mm, so when we left off Dirk headed off to college and Jaden was just born.

With Dirk gone, the house felt so empty. Darren decided to continue painting and stay at home and take care of the baby. He thought about how much of Dirk's childhood he had missed by always being at work and he didn't want that kind of childhood for his other children. He was glad to be rebuilding he relationship with Dirk and he wanted to make sure he was there for his new children.

Jaden grew up well. She was the apple of her parents eye.

She was cute as a button and artistically inclined just like her father.

Darren was there for everything. He helped Jaden get dressed and made her a special breakfast and dinner for her first day of school. Eve made it home just in time to see Jaden get off the bus.

she felt terrible about missing everything. She also wasn't feeling so good physically. She kept catching the flu. Between being away at work, doctors apointments and bed rest, she was missing all of Jaden's childhood.

this concerned Darren but the doctors didn't know what was going on. somehow she became pregnant and Jasmine came along but Eve kept getting sick.

Meanwhile Cassandra just couldn't let it go. She still occasionally showed up at the house unannounced. Both Darren and Eve ignored her, but they agreed she would probably continue to do this until he spoke to her. So he picked a public place and she came looking like this:

Darren could not believe his eyes. My how she'd grown. She was a woman now. The sat down to dinner and Cassandra told him all about the drama that had been unfolding at the Goth household.

Firstly, she finally married Don and he seemed to have changed his cheating ways. They were both so happy! but before she knew it, Don had played himself again. as it turns out, both Don and Morty (her father) had been seeing Dina Caliente. Morty was beginning to take thier relationship to the next level...

Don just busted in the room. Horrified, he watched as his jump off was with his new father in law. And he snapped and was so upset. It was just terrible. Then Morty asked Dina to move in. And then to marry him. and now she was pregnant. it was madness.

Morty and Don now hated each other and they were always fightin. like REALLY fighting.

the house was super tense and with two pregnant woman, it was even wore. ack. but she wanted to know how he was and he told her about the family. Since Eve was always so sick, she put the whole family on a strict healthy diet - fish and veggies. it was pretty intense.

and Dirk had finally visited from college, but he brought lillith and it wasn't exactly pretty. Darren kept catching her making faces like this:

you'd better watch yourself girl! but yeah, life was good. he was happy. he was happy she was happy. it was great to see each other again. good time. good memories. he hoped she worked out all her family drama, but he sure was happy to see her.
