With all that time on her hands from her maternity leave, Eve started thinking long and hard about her future. Although she was getting paid in her current job, she couldn’t shake the fact that she really really wanted to go into education. She made the most of her time and researched her way to change her career. She read you didn’t need to be accredited to become a subsitute teacher, so she waddled down to the Department of Education, put her name on the list and was ready to begin.

Of course, she still had a few more months until she was due. In the meantime, Darren continued to paint. He was just about to give up on painting when suddenly people started paying real money for them. He painted at least one painting a month to sell and then one of Eve. He loved painting her. He painted so much he maxed out his creativity level. Paintings from this artist genius will sell for even more!

Eve was getting bigger and bigger!

She was also becoming needy. She always wanted to snuggle and cuddle and talk. Dirk stayed clear of her as much as he could. Darren accepted the fact that painting had to come second.

and he had to admit, he was really enjoying the sex!

With the summer coming a close and the baby coming soon the family had a little meeting to talk about the future. Dirk was going to be gone for four years and so much would be different when he returned. They told him that if he wanted he could move back home for a while and save up some money. He rolled his eyes but thanked them for the offer. He told them that he and Lillith had already made plans. To this Darren and Eve rolled their eyes, oh puppy love.

Eve was so busy being tired and hungry and Darren was so busy trying to keep Eve happy that they kind of forgot about Dirk for most of Eve’s pregnancy. He revealed in this moment and spent a lot of time with Lillith. One night they snuck out to a house party. Unfortunately, the cops totally busted it up and Dirk came home in the cop car.

But no one even noticed becuase Eve was already in labor!

Dirk just snuck into his room, pretended to wake up and ran into the room to see his new little sister - Jaden.

He feel in love with her right away. He ended up spending most of his summer taking care of her.

If he wasn’t staying up late taking care of Jaden, he was up sneaking out to be with Lillith. And it was taking a toll on him, look at your boys face!

His was stressed and it was totally affecting his work. On the last day of his internship, they informed him they would not need him during the next academic year. He was crushed but he told his dad "i don’t give a *bleep* i didn’t want that internship anyway!" He was just excited to be getting out of Pleasantville and heading off to Lennon College - one of the most prestigous in the country! And Lillith was going to AND they were going to live in the same dorm! Unfortunately her twin sister was also moving into the dorm and that only meant one thing: drama.

But who cares?! He was finally getting to go to college. With his departure date coming sooner and sooner, Darren decided to burry the hatchet and try to salvage their relationship. He stopped criticizing him about his clothes and even told him he was proud of all he’d accomplished. Dirk was beyond surprised.

Wow, after all these years, it was like he had a family again and now he was leaving. He thought Eve was pretty cool and she always had his back. Maybe he would come home after college… or at least visit.

The next few days flew buy, Darren bought him everything he would need for college - including a cell phone so he could call home. It was an emotional night when Dirk left, Darren kept hugging him and smiling and i think i even saw a tear in the corner of his eye.
